Have you ever had a terrible on-boarding experience? My best guess is that the answer is yes. I will discuss some strategies and best-practices for on-boarding and mentoring new developers, helping retain those great hires, as well as giving green developers their best chance at success in their new career. It only makes good sense to put some solid time effort into creating and maintaining a great on-boarding and mentorship program. Everyone wins!
